I became a vendor at Expo’s and I started to get myself and my work out into the community. This led to me getting my footing and expanding my work with other clients. I created an interview process to guide my intuitive artistic processes and just took the leap with a few trusted clients. This dream evolved into marketing commissioned artwork for clients to help them on their spiritual journeys. I asked myself how I could build a business and turn my calling to help people heal into reality. In 2020, centered by the intentions I had for my artwork, I started thinking about building my own business by playing with a few more creative projects. Both deeply personal and universally symbolic, I strive to help people through my art stay focused on what they value the most to find the gratitude and stillness they need to be their best selves. Often my art is a spiritual calling to creation and exploration of the rich tapestries of the human experience. My work is currently focused on intentional in mapping of the spiritual symbolism that helps people to meditate on their authentic self for deeper acceptance, healing and ultimately transcendence. I want them to know that you can indulge in what you love to enrich your life and other people’s lives. I want to show my children that you can achieve big creative things.

It has now become my mission as a mother of four children, to share my love and healing through the magical artwork I create in their presence. Through the trauma of my youth, I coped by using art and through art I found healing. As I continued to draw throughout my childhood, it helped me live out my imagination and daydreams.Īs a young adult I quickly realized art was more than just a way for me to escape into my imagination. My art journey began when I was gifted a sketchbook and pencils for Christmas at nine-years-old. My name is Bailey and I am a mother, wife, spiritualist and artist. I look forward to building this new business with the community and continue learning more and more everyday. Opening my own all inclusive art shop was something I knew I must do in order to do all the artsy things I strive to do. I am by no means a famous artist, but have the dream of creating artists that will have a voice of their own. Sometimes teaching what you do know opens all sorts of possible things to learn. Even though I don’t have a decade of experience, I have a lot of different techniques that i’ve learned over the years that I know I can potentially pass onto others. I loved how calm Bob Ross went though his episodes assuring all who watched that they could do it too.

Just when I thought I’d found my dream job, I knew there was something else I wanted to add to my art career, teaching painting classes.īob Ross and my grandmother have always been an inspiration and teacher for my landscape paintings. I worked at a shop downtown Billings, MT where, when I wasn’t tattooing, I was able to do commission paintings and display my personal creations for the world to see and enjoy.

Eventually I moved onto being fully licensed, when the real learning begun.

Doing that full time as well as supporting myself working at local bars. I started my tattoo apprenticeship in 2019 where I started learning the ins and outs of proper tattoo procedures. Not many get to sell their drawings and paintings for a living and actually be fully funded by art, then struck my idea of becoming a tattoo artist on top of selling my paintings/ artwork. I knew I wanted to create art everyday for a career, but how? After taking some drawing classes in high school along with graphic design and animation, I have a burning passion to create and share my artwork with the worldįrom hobby to dream job, i started painting about 6 years ago.
